Blessing day and 2nd Birthday!

I am overwhelmed with blessing. I am so thankful for such a wonderful family my 2 kids and husband mean everything to me. We also have a very large support group of family and friends. It is days like this last weekend that make me really appreciate all the people in our lives. Here is our sweet Jodi who we blessed this last weekend. She was so happy and smiley for everyone. We are so lucky to have her a part of our family.
And here is our big boy! Wow when did he grow up he is now 2 years old! Time has gone by so fast. He is so fun to be around and so sweet. He loves trains and so here is is with his train cake he was so excited! It was pretty cute he was so embarrassed when everyone was singing happy birthday to him!

We has cousins and grandparents there it was a really fun weekend. It is crazy to think but calvi and jodi had 6 sets of grandparents there! We are so lucky to have so many of them!

Last Oregon adventures

Here is Calvi in his hotel bed with his little buddy! He is funny he loves to tuck his animals and himself in bed it is pretty cute!
We took a trip to the Oregon coast since we were so close. We headed out one morning and our first stop was Tillamock Cheese factory. It was fun to see how they packaged the cheese and it was also good to taste some!
Then we drove up the coast and stopped at a few beaches along the way. This is us at Twin rocks. The weather was actually really great for being January. It was only really breezy when you were right up to the water. It was overcast all day but it never rained till it was dark and we were eating dinner.
A really fun thing that we got to do was feed seals some dead cut up fish. Calvi thought it was fun to feed them. When you ask him what a seal does he will slap his chest cause that is what the seals did cause they wanted the fish. It was one of our hi lights of the trip.
I liked calvis foot prints in the sand. He had a lot of fun with tyler getting close up to the water and running super fast when a wave came up to not get wet.
Here is the fam at haystack rock at Cannon Beach. We had an awesome day running around on the beach. It was one of our favorite outings while in oregon.
This is how we brought on the New Year. We started a fire in the fire place and watched movies and ate good food and snacks! Whoooo! Notice calvi and i have matching shirts! ha ha
Here are the boys at the Portland temple. Calvi like the water ( the water ponds).
Here is a really huge and awesome play park jungle gym in Washington park. Calvi loved it and the whole thing was perfect for his size!
This is where we spent a LOT of our time at the mall stairs. Here are the kids playing and jodi just hangin out!
We took a trip to krispy Kreme doughnuts. It was fun to see them make the doughnuts and calvi loved eating them!
Here is a cute pict of the kids sleeping on the couch calvi likes to cuddle up and be by jodi sometimes.
Calvi just discovered a love for the tub! he loves to play in the tub especially when we get creative and throw in all kinds of random stuff.
Here is my mom and gma. My mom brooke and her kids came to see us the last week we were there. We went to visit my grandparents for the week then went back to portland spent the night and packed up and headed out. It was a lot of fun to have them come up and join us.
I had a lot of fun while on our adventure in portland. It was a great experience for ty and our family it made us really appreciate how close we are with our families back in idaho. It is so nice to have so many people who care for our kids and are a part of their lives. This is jodi back at home while we un packed the car. Calvi was so funny he got inside and said "mine own house!" he just kept saying it over and over he was so excited and happy to be home!

Ducks, Horses and Boys and a Girl!

Here is our Jodi bugs she is getting pretty chubby we just love her! Calvi likes her shirt he kept saying cupcake cupcake!
We found this really awesome park that is not to far from where we are staying. It is a dog walking park so there are a lot of people and their dogs which calvi likes. There is also a big duck pond.
I have a cousin who lives not far from where we are and she had 2 boys, they are so cute. Calvi has really been missing his friends and cousins and so it is fun for him to hang out with these boys. He cant say their names so we call them the cousins. We took the boys to this carousel that is in the food court of a mall. They really liked it and we got there a little early and they were excited to get on.
This picture is so cute! Jacob likes Calvi and wanted to sit by him. It is cute cause Calvi will just follow him around and they get along real well. I also thought it was cute that they were both wearing camo jackets i kept getting them confused. We also took the cousins to the duck park where they saw ducklings as Jacob would say.
Ty has been working hard here we have gone to the office a few times to be with him while he was working and here are the kids camped out in the office. Calvi likes sitting in jodis seat it is like a little rocking chair. He will sit there for a long time and just watch mickey mouse.
And end with a little more Jodi bugs. I love that she still has long hair. Some of it has fallen out but it already has started to grow back in those spots.

Here are the kids. I just love them! This is the best pict i have of them since they are so wiggly and calvi didnt want to hold jodi for to long.
Jodi is all smiles she really is happy a lot.
This is how pictures usually are. Calvi is just takin off his shoes and jodi is done taking picts. These pictures are the ones that really make me laugh cause that is what it is usually like when i want to take a nice pict.
Calvi loves jodi so much. He really looks out for her. She was here sleeping on the couch and then calvi saw her and i looked over cause i thought he was poking at her and this is what i found. he had to lay right next to her. He calls her his jodi bugs.
Here we are on calvis favorite walk here in portland right on the river. We always see the choo choos and boats, buses and bridges. There is a lot going on down there.
This is one of calvis favorite things to do is the mall stairs. It is so cute sometimes in the day he will just say go mall stairs and play toys. He likes to ride the stairs and then play on the toys they have at the mall.
One day we went to this beautiful place Multnomah Falls. It was really pretty and we even went up and walked across the bridge. We are really enjoying all the green and trees. it is defiantly a change from the idaho desert.

She did ok with my Gma and cousins at Christmas but I just cant wait till we get home and there will be so many people who will need to take their turn holding her!

Merry Christmas 2011

Hey i hope everyone had a great christmas we sure did. We did a few activities around here and one of our favorites was going to a place called peacock lane. It was a street where everyone on it decorated their house with lights it was really fun to walk up and down and see all the awesome lights.
Since we are here in Oregon we were not able to make it back to Idaho to be with our familys wich we really miss. We were lucky to have my grandparents and cousins who live in Eugene about 1 1/2 hrs away to go be with. We got there friday evening to start the festivites.
My cousins came to my Grandparents house every night to play games. It was fun to visit with them and Gma had enough candy, and snacks to keep us plenty full.
Here are the kids in their christmas pj's. Calvi had mickey mouse he was so excited and he just went around saying mickey mouse. It is crazy how i got them a little big and they were falling off sometimes but i know it only takes a matter of weeks before he will fit them just right. I already had to go through jodis cloths cause she is growing so fast!

Christmas morning was fun this year calvi acutally got excited and went through everything. We just took our time with things he would stop and play with everything for a while and we didnt even end up opening presents till after lunch and church! he would open a present and play with it for a while then go to the next thing. it was hard to get him to keep opening them so we just took our time.

More Excitment!

If having this sweet little baby wasnt exciting enough we have more to come. Jodi has been such a good girl. She sleeps great eats great and is pretty good except when she eats sometimes she gets really bad tummy aches. Calvi went through the same thing so we are just trying to get through that. But she really is a happy little girl.
For Thanksgiving this year we spent it at our friends house. This is Calvi and his friend Cake (Kate). They have a lot of fun playing together. We had a great time and had really good food.
We also went to Twin Falls and saw our family. Here is a pict of us at Tylers parents greenhouse with all the christmas flowers. We got to see a lot of family and had a great time with some more good food.
Ok here is for the big news, we are currently living in Portland Oregon. This is calvi reading a tractor book from his grandparents on the ride. Tyler is here helping a company get their IT department working better and we will be here till at least the end of the month. We found out that we would be moving there 2 days before Thanksgiving so we also spent that day packing all our stuff into our car. We live at a Marriott Hotel it is actually a fun experience. Our room is pretty big it has a full kitchen and living area 2 bathrooms and one room. Since we will be here during Christmas i brought a few Christmas things and our stockings are hanging by our fireplace. There are a lot of perks living at a hotel like an awesome continental breakfast every morning, dinner 2-3 days a week, and a lady who comes to clean the place everyday. It is pretty fun and we live right next to a very large mall so we go on walks there and play on the toys and stuff there.
Here are the kids just out of the tub. They are so cute together. Calvis new thing is to go to Jodi and tickle her tummy he is so soft and he just thinks it is so funny.
It is nice living in a big city we have found some fun things to do. Here is Calvi at the Portland Childrens Museum. They had a ton of hands on things for kids to do ages 6 months to 10 years. One of Calvis favorites was the Water Works center.
They had a big lego display going on and here is ty and calvi by a super awesome lego knight!
And here we are in the big frame. It is funny i dont really have any picts with Jodi in them cause i am always caring her in the backpack. She loves it and always falls right asleep.
Living here we are really close to my Grandparents in Eugen and so we went to visit them this last weekend. Here is calvi next to their singing christmas trees Calvi loved them! My grandma had fun holding Jodi all weekend even if she was fighting the tummy troubles.
I also made a bunch of cookies while we were there for Christmas cause i dont have all the stuff to make all the yummy treats that i want. We have NO room to bring anything home and so i have been trying to cook with the least amount of ingredients as possible. Here is clavi worn out after making cookies. He also had a couple bad falls and scraped up his face. Ty did not want to take him in public cause he was afraid that someone would think he beat his kid.
We live right by a huge mall and they had a Santa thing going on one day. They had a puppet show with a bunch of fun things for the kids to do. Calvi colored a pict and they put it in a little frame he got some fun prizes for playing games then santa came and read the kids a book and he brought milk and cookies for all the kids. Calvi loved it and he kept saying santa ho hoho. So now whenever we go to the mall he thinks we are going to see Santa Hohoho.
And here is Portland. It has been about half and half of foggy and sunlight. It is defiantly different weather here. We are having fun and finding lots of fun Christmas things to do.

Jodi Flint is finally here!!

Our little girl was finally born 9 days late on November 9th. It was a super fast labor 9 hrs in the hospital and she was born at 3:14 AM. She weighted 7lb 4 oz and is 19 in tall. She is so sweet has lots of dark hair and looks a lot like her brother.
Calvi has been really good with her. He says Jodi but it sounds like Judy. It is so cute he know she is his sister and he will give her a kiss and hug on demand. Hopefully that will last a while. He is so cute when she makes a noise he will go and check on her or he will say sister or judy?
Here they are at the hospital it is crazy how calvi was so little and after holding Jodi calvi just weighed a ton! He is still my little man but he seems so much bigger! It is crazy how Jodi was born a lot bigger than Calvi was and i can really tell a difference between the two. Jodi has been so good about eating sleeping and for the most part seems pretty calm. She does like to be cuddled and when i put her down sometimes she will just whine a little till i pick her up and then she is ok.
It is crazy how our little family is now a family of 4. It is so great to have such cute little kids i love them both. Tyler is such a great help especially through the delivery i am pretty sure his hands are broken for life but he still hung on. We have had lots of family and friends come and see us and it is so much fun to be able to share her with everyone.
Here is a pic of me and my sisters dont worry that none of us are holding our own children. crazy how within less than 3 years there are 5 kids!! We are all home and doing great everything went well and i am feeling back to my normal un-pregnant self!

Summer is OVER

So here is out last picture of summer. The days of eating watermelon at the park is over. It snowed for the first time this week CRAZY to think. Oh well here we go again i had to get out our coats and warm stuff and i actually have to wear pants now.
This last week we went to celebrate Grandmas 90th Birthday! It is so crazy to think what has happened in the last 90 years i only hope i can live a great long life like her.
Here is Calvi watching conference sitting in between his Gma and Pa flint. He had fun running them around and playing with trucks. We had a great time visiting with family and Calvi had fun playing with the cousins and Grandmas and Grandpas!

Catching up September

Here are my favorite boys. They are so cute. Ty has been working so hard getting things done at work we have not seen to much of him, so I love these moments that we have! Calvi loves his dad!
We also had a great time watching one of my long time friends kids for the day. They are so sweet here is her little boy he is only like 2 months older than calvi and they had so much fun playing together. She also has a sweet little girl. Now the question is why dont we live closer they are so cute!
We had the chance to make it to the Idaho State Fair. Calvi had a lot of fun looking at animals and getting a famous Culligan hat with a feather.
Calvi has been spending a lot of time at the park. He has gotten really good at climbing on all the toys. He also loves to swing. Here he is "I lost my hat!"
Crazy time here the boys went to their first father son camp out. I was a little crazy to think that our little guy was old enough to go out by himself to hang out with the big boys. Ty just took him for the evening and he said he wished he would have brought stuff to camp cause Calvi didn't want to leave. Calvi had such a great time hanging out with his dad and the other boys in the ward. I spent the evening helping my friend make a blanket it was fun. Crazy to think next time i will have a little girl to hang out with while the boys go on their adventures.
Here is a funny shot it is sad but this is not the first time this has happened. He is so funny sometimes he gets so worn out he cant even eat. It does make for a peaceful dinner.
Aunt Jilly came to visit and brought her wagon. The kids had fun going for a ride. That thing is big it fit Clara, Calvi and Jamen. The summer is coming to an end.

puppy kisses

Last month we spent some time in Twin with family. Here is calvi at my parents house getting kisses their puppy tina. She is such a great dog with kids calvi loves her. My mom found some cowboy boots that use to be my little brothers and calvi wears them everywhere. Also the medal that is a toy that is at the house and for some reason calvi always finds it and has to wear it.
Here we are playing in the water with gma and Andy. Andy left on a mission last wed and so it was fun being able to spend some time playing with him.
Andy is one of calvis buddies he takes him on 4 wheel rides and lets him play with his phone. He really likes Andy, they are just chillin watching some tv.
Here is my whole family at least one of the best of the 6 picts that were taken. It is hard to get my family to take a picture, i have a family full of boys who dont like pictures. It is nice to see how the family is growing, look at all the kids!
Here are some random picts of us around the house. Calvi has a problem he keeps opening the oven, the thing is that he always puts a hot pad on his arm. He has not gotten hurt yet but i really need to figure out how to lock it.
Here is calvi going for a ride in gmas wagon. it is funny when ever he needs a nap we just throw him in the wagon and it doesn't take long. He loves riding in the wagon with little scooby.
Calvi also likes to help out with the laundry and has recently found out he can climb inside! He has been having so much fun growing up and figuring out all these new things.

Flint Family Reunion

A few weeks ago we had a Flint family reunion by Yellowstone. The evening before we left we had all of tylers family at the house. It was so much fun to have everyone there. The kids had fun playing with all the toys as you can see.
We headed out the next day to this Hebgen lake. It was so pretty there. Here is Calvi and tyler riding in the boat around the lake calvi thought it was pretty cool.
One day we went to Yellowstone. Here we are by some waterfall for a family pic.
We saw old faithful calvi only thought it was neat for a minute then he was done. It was a pretty hot day.
Here is tyler walking calvin. We do have a little backpack leash thing but we left it in the truck. Calvi is so independent at the wrong times so we had to keep him close somehow, that is why we used tys belt. We did get some funny looks but you do what you have to sometimes.
The last day we were there we went to cliff lake it is such a pretty lake. Calvi had fun sitting on the shore throwing rocks in the water. We were only able to stay for 3 days cause tyler got super sick so we went home early. It was a lot of fun to go camping and hang out with the family for a few days.

Baby Gus

My sister Brooke had her baby boy August Hyrum Domino (Gus). He was born on July 18th. He was so little it was crazy to think of how calvi was ever that little. Gus is such a cute little guy and i am so excited he is here.
My mom and sister came down to take care of him and Clara. Here they are with all the Rainsdon grand kids. We were at the hospital and calvi and clara needed some extra entertainment, that is why they are suckin on suckers.
We had fun busy week hangin out with Jill and Jamen for a few days and then my mom was there for a while. We had fun going on walks and hangin out in the park with Gma.
She even brought a candy necklace that calvi loved. He was so funny eating it, it was always hangin out of his mouth.
We took the kids to the pioneer day parade in St. Anthony. It was even better than the 4th of july one. We got TONS of candy. The kids did really well again they would not get off the blanket and so my mom and i would go out and pick up the candy. We had a really fun week.

A trip to the Zoo

We took a weekend trip to Twin so the boys could go boat riding. Here is calvi waiting on the dock to go out. He had a long hot day and ended up just falling asleep on the boat. Tyler did get to go out on the water and had a fun time.

Tyler missed out on our trip to the Idaho Falls Zoo last summer and has been wanting to go, so we took Gma and tysen to go see the animals.
We had a really great time even though it was super hot!!

This is how calvi spent most of his time at the zoo. He actually did really well and didnt try to run off. He loved just walking around and seeing all the animals.

4th of July

So i know these picts are a little late. Ok like super late, but i still wanted to share these pictures. Here is Calvi and Clara waiting for the Rexburg 4th of July parade. They did really good through the whole thing and loved it.
Here is our family. Calvi did really good he just sat on the blanket the whole time and stared at everything passing by. He didn't even try to run out in the road to get candy.
Later that afternoon we went to Idaho Falls to hang out with our friends. Here we are playing with sparklers.
Here is where tyler was trying to help calvi do snaps or pops whatever you call them. He didn't really get it, he couldn't throw them hard enough. He wasn't so sure about the real fireworks we did, he didn't really like the loud noise.

Camping

We have been camping 2 times this summer. The first time we went to twin bridges. It was really fun Calvi even did really well. His favorite thing to do when we are camping it to sit and drive dads truck. He LOVES his dads truck and he will just sit in there and have a blast.
Here he is helping his dad start a fire. He is sometimes a little to helpful.
The second camping trip was to Jackson and the Teton National Forest. We spent the night in a camp ground right out side of Jackson, it was really pretty. The next day we went driving around the park. We stopped to see the lakes along the way.
Here are the boys doing what calvin loves to do throw rocks in the water.
Calvin loved the stuffed animals. He went crazy when he saw the elk in the visitors center he just kept pointing at them like do you see this guys!
Here are the boys by the famous antler arches in Jackson. It was so hot and we had a lot of fun. We have been having fun with calvin showing him all the fun things there are to do in this world. It is so much fun to follow him around and watch him learn and discover new things.

Finally Summer

So it is finally summer here in Rexburg. We have loved being outside as much as possible. I thought this was just a cute pict of calvi. As for the baby #2 ITS A GIRL! We are so excited to have one of each and things are going well.
Here is calvi rockin his swim suit. He has been wearing a them a lot lately. We love to go to the swim park or just run through the sprinklers in the yard.
Uncle Tysen has also been out of school for the summer and the boys have been having fun wrestling and hangin out together.
Aunt Cori came over and played outside it was so much fun. Calvi is not wearing pants cause he sat in the pool and they got soaked. It is much more fun to hang out in a diaper anyway.
And what is better than eating ice cream with cousins. Calvi loved his ice cream not so much the cone. We love the summer!!

Sunday drive

It was so nice this weekend we were able to get out of the car on our Sunday drive. We went to this place we have gone camping before and walked around. We found that calvi loves to throw rocks in the river. We stayed while calvi threw a bunch of rocks in the river he was laughing and having a great time.
Here he is he fell down and got his hands dirty. He has been doing this thing where when he gets his hands dirty he will show me and want me to wipe them off. What a goofy kid!
We were close to the sand dunes and so we let Calvi play in a huge sandbox. He just laughed as he ran around on the hills. He would sit and bury himself in the sand.

First nice Saturday

This summer ty and i have a project. There is a neighbor who has a garden spot but is to old to do anything with it so we are planting a garden there. It has been really hard to get things together to get things going, but i am happy to say that now it is all planted and hopefully ready to grow some stuff.
We had a lot of family visit this weekend. My little brother went through the temple in Idaho falls. It was so wonderful to have all the family there in the temple together. Here is the guys hard at work at the garden. Tyler got it all tilled.

Here we are at the water park the twin cousins. Calvi had so much fun at the water park till he got caught under some water. It didn't take him long to get back out and play.
Here is Clara and Andy she kept asking him "ride on the horses Uncle andy?" How could you say no to that.
Calvi went for a ride with his gma and gpa. He kept wandering over to the carousel and had such a fun time riding it with all his cousins.

So we finally started to have a few days of warm weather and we are enjoying it for sure! A few weeks ago Ty found out he had a meeting in Chicago for a week. Iwas not going to stay at home alone for a whole week, so i called my mom and said that i would take a trip to Oregon to visit my grandparents. It was 10 hrs both ways but it was worth it! Ty dropped us off at my parents house and then he went east and we went west.
Here are my wonderful grandparents. We had such a great time with them having a fun relaxing visit.
Here is calvi reading books with Gma.
They have a jacuzzi tub and calvi LOVED it he had fun just playing in all the crazy bubbles.
This is what calvi spent most of his time doing, going around and around my gmas garden, he loved it rain or shine!
He also liked to play on the bed. He was such a great boy on the whole trip it was great. He is such a wonderful boy. then ty came to pick us up and calvi missed him and has been attached to him ever since.
We went to cousin Kais birthday party at Gerties in Twin and here is calvi riding one of the little rides. He thought they were pretty fun. He was so worn out by the end of the week we all just crashed when we got home.
Here is calvi the next day all ready for church. since it has been getting warmer outside we have been going for a walk before church to get all the wiggles.

Babies

So here are the Rainsdon cousins. Jill came over and the kids loved their new cousin. We had fun hanging out and going swimming.
Here is Calvi riding a new little calvi size saddle his Gma and Gpa got. We put it on the dog to try it out. What a great fit!
Here is Calvi just playing in the grass it is what he does best! This is a long time coming it is finally getting to be tolerable to be outside.
PS- Speaking of babies we have baby #2 coming November 1st! We are so excited!

Easter and running

In the last month calvi has really learned to walk. One day he just figured it out and has been walking well running ever since then. I love that he can walk it is so nice that he can go where he needs to and it also entertains him just walking around.
We spent Easter in Twin with our families. Here is Calvi and Ty taking a ride on the tractor. Calvin LOVES tractors, and trucks so going to Twin it a real treat for him.
Here we are at Gma and Gpa Flints decorating Easter eggs. That is about as far as he got.
Tys aunt brought 2 little pug puppies and Calvi was in heaven. The little guys would run around him and lick him and tackle him, he loved it. Here he is with his cousin Laynie and the dogs on the easter egg hunt.

He had such a great weekend he was so tired on the way home this is what happened. It was so much fun to see all our family. We had a great time.

Whats been up

We have been super busy this last few weeks i have not had a chance to post anything. A few weeks ago my little sister Jill had her first baby. He was an 8 pounder and so so cute! They named him Jamen Theadore Ramsey. Tyler was out of town from the day she went into the hospital so calvi and i were able to go and spend a few days with them, without having to worry about taking care of ty.
Jill and Kyle stayed at the hospital a few nights and as you can see the kidos had a lot of fun taking over their house. They had so much fun having a cousins sleepover it was so fun to just watch them play.
We had some other friends come and spend a day and night with us and it was really fun to have them. Here we are feeding the ducks. It is still pretty cold but getting warmer.
Last week we were able to go spend a week in Twin Falls at tylers parents greenhouse and help out. Calvi loved the greenhouse, he LOVES to be outside and he will sit by the door and just cry to be outside. Here he is helping out dad. It was really fun to see everyone down there.
Here are the twiners. Not really but they are cousins there is Calvin and Laynie who is 4 months younger but they look the same age and size from behind. they loved watching the dogs in the front yard at gma and gpa Flints house.
We went to see my parents on the way back and Calvin being the outside freak he is drug Gma and Gpa out with him for over an hour. He had so much fun having them follow him around he kept pointing at Gpas tractors and before you know it he was out riding one around the house. what a spoiled little boy. He is so lucky to have so many Gma and Gpas to love and take care of him.
We have been having a lot of fun around the house calvi has discovered that he LOVES the backyard and sandbox. we have also been going for bike rides and trying to get outside more. hope it keeps getting warmer cause we are ready for summer weather it is hot or not!

A few weeks ago we went to Twin to do a baby shower for my little sister Jill. We had a really great time seeing friends and family. Grandpa got the horses ready so we could take a ride. I gave clara a ride then i gave calvi a ride. They thought it was pretty fun. After the kids had fun my dad and i went for a ride. I had a great time since it has been forever since i have ridden on a horse.
Here is calvi just hangin in his toy box he really likes sitting in it. Ty wanted a picture with him in it so when he is 18 we can tell him he fit in the little box with his legs straight!!
Here is calvi riding his little dino. He really loves to push it around and his new thing is he likes to get pulled around the house using tylers belt. It is so cute he just sits there hangin on for the ride.

I know Calvi turned 1 a while ago but i have not been up on posting the picts. Here he is with is Birthday cake that i am pretty proud of making.
We had a little party the weekend that we got back from our trip, we had Grandmas Grandpas Aunts, Uncles, Cousins come over it was really fun. It is so great to have so many people care about our sweet little guy. Thanks so much.
For Grandma Walkers birthday we went swimming at our pool. Here is calvi in his little swim suit he LOVES swimming!

San Franscisco

So this last week we spent on a little trip to San Fran. Tyler had some work conference there and so we went with him and another guy from work. We had a really great time exploring the city. We would drop tyler off and then go out exploring. Here is calvi one lunch eating his happy meal. Cavlin was very friendly to mostly all the wrong things. He loved to share his food with tiny animals usually pesky dirty pigeons. He also made a lot of friends with homeless people and just any one we sat by on the bus or walking around. He is just so cute who could not say hi to him.
We found this park with this awesome water thing that was right by our hotel. This was his favorite place on the whole trip he played in that water for a long time and got all wet. We brought dad back to show him.
We met Tyler on a little break and here is his name tag stuck to the back of calvis head.

Calvin spent his 1st birthday in California. It was Sunday and we made him a jam sandwich with a candle on top. He thougth it was kinda weird but whatever. That is about all we did for his b-day but we did celebrate it more when we got back i will post that in a bit.
Here we are waiting to get on the cable car for a ride. That was one of my favorite things to ride. We got a city bus muni pass and we rode all kinds of stuff.
We got lost on our way to church but we ended up here Lombard st. the super crooked road. It was crazy but we had to walk up it to get where we wanted to be. It was a great view from the top.
We walked around the Golden Gate Park for one afternoon. I wish we had parks like that here in Idaho it was so big we barley got to see anything. Here are the boys at the Japanese Garden area.
Tyler had a couple days where they didn't have meetings on one day we took a ferry to Alcatraz Island. It was a really awesome experience. The view was amazing and we could have not asked for better weather for the whole trip. It was nothing but sunny clear skies the whole time we were there.

Here we are in the prison cells. They were really interesting to go see. It was a self guided tour where we just had headsets and just listened and walked where they told us to. It was really fun.
We went to the park and Tyler was drinking a Gatorade and Calvi wanted to try and he LOVED it as you can see he would not let go till it was gone.
Here are my boys like father like son. Tyler was on the phone and so calvi had to be just like him so they both were on the phone during dinner. It is pretty funny how calvin picks up on things like that.
One day we spent with my cousin Allison. It was really fun, we knew she lived in San Fran but we didnt know where and we ended up running into her husband at church. They lived only a 15 min walk from our hotel. It was so nice to be able to hang out with her and go to her house and have some space for calvi to crawl around. We went to a fun Chinese dance performace and saw some fun stuff. She also cooked us a wonderful dinner and tyler and mark met us there after their meetings.
On our last day there we went down to the piers and hung around there. Here is calvi loving the little beach we found. He was such a great traveler he seriously spent a whole week in this stroller and as long as there was something to see he never complained.
Here is Calvi on our way home at the airport. He loved to look out the windows and see all the airplanes take off and all the other moving things.

Here are the boys on the airplane on the ride home. Calvi did so good on the airplanes he had 2 both ways and he slept for 3 out of 4 it was so awesome. We had a really good time and saw so many fun things. But after a week we were ready to come home to our wonderful little quiet town.

The Weekend

Calvin is still a climber. He finally got his teeth to break through the gums and the last few days have been much better. This is what you can find calvi doing while i am in the kitchen.
This last weekend calvi and i took a trip to see aunt jilly and uncle kyle. We had a great day hangin out with them while tyler had to work. Calvi loved Donatello the turtle. here he is trying to get him.
We also got some rest in calvi fell asleep while we watched a movie. We had a great time. Not much else is going on around here. This week we are getting ready for our big trip to San Francisco! We leave first thing Friday morning. Tyler has been working so hard lately we are so excited and hope all goes well on the trip.

Today has been a crazy day for our little guy (monster), he is getting his top teeth. He has been crying and uncomfortable all day. But in between the tears he still has his moments. Here he is after church looking so cute in his cloths.
Here he is with his daddy watching his favorite show Baby Einstein. He loves those movies and he will sit on our laps and watch the whole thing. He loves it and it is so fun to see him laugh and get excited at all the silly things. He is such a sweet boy and i dont know what we would ever do without him!!

The BOX

Ok so do you remember this little nugget in his tiny baby car seat hangin out with his buddy Kacen. He barley fit inside he would get lost in the blankets he was so little!
Well it is time to grow up and that is where we got this box. Calvin finally got a new car seat. He had way out grown his little baby one and needed a new ride.
He loves to play in this box it is so big! we cut out some holes and he will crawl in and out all day. Here he is with his uncle Adam, he thinks it is funny when people poke out their head to say hi!
Calvi feels like a king in his new car seat! he Loves it and it is so crazy to think he is a growing boy.
Talk about bad hair days. That is what has been up in our house for a while. Calvi is in need of a hair cut!
He still loves to climb. Here he is his whole body in the dishwasher. He thinks he is helping but he really isnt!
Clara turned 2 this last week and that is just crazy! I made her this little tu tu cause she likes to dance around like a ballerina. My mom came down and hung out with us for a few days it was fun to have here there.

Swimmin time! Calvi loves to swim. We put him in his life jacket and he just floats around and had a great time.

Clara got a life jacket for Christmas and she had a great time breaking it in. the picts look foggy cause my lens was all fogged over.
Calvi has been a little climber lately. He will climb up everything. He loves to climb the stairs and when he saw me pull this out he just had to try it. He is pretty fast, i wish he could use that energy to just walk!
Clara came over to play and they both had to just take laps going back and forth following each other. Calvi is really good at walking with the help of something he is just to chicken to go on his own. He is so so close! That is pretty much what we have been up to just hangin out and staying out of the cold.

Tylers work had a party at this gymnastics place in town. It was so much fun there was a lot of stuff to do there. There was also a ton of people, it is crazy to see how the company has grown from just a few guys to now a bunch of guys and everyone was there with their families. Calvi liked crawling around on all the stuff and watching the kids play.
Here is tyler sumo style. He was sumo wrestling another guy and he got knocked down and calvi just freaked out and started crying. it was so sad he just was so worried about his daddy!!
For New Years we went to Twin for the weekend to hang out with family. here is my little nephew Kai. He loves super heroes and so for Christmas i made him a cape he loved it. It was so cute to watch him run around in it.
At my parents house for the new year they had a few activites planned. My mom made a pinata and at first the kids were confused and then when it was cracked opened and a few candies and toys fell out clara freaked out and started yelling candy candy it was so funny. She would go and gather up a few things at a time and put them in a pile she was so excited!
My dad put some straw bails in the back of the farm pickup and we went for a night drive through the farm. It was pretty cold but fun to just be with the family. Calvi almost fell asleep he was so cozy and warm on my lap.
Then the boys went out on Saturday and shot some clay pigeons. They had a great time and tyler is a pretty good shot! It was a little to cold for me so i took my turn and ended up going back to the house with calvin. It was a fun weekend we got back and it was 0 degrees!!! yeah and it has not warmed up. so we have been in the house just takin down Christmas and trying to stay warm.

Here is Calvi on Christmas Eve. We spent Christmas in Idaho falls with tylers family. We had such a great time and it was so fun to be there for his little brother being so excited for Christmas! Calvi likes sitting on this little bench it is just his size!

Here we are Christmas morning Calvi didn't really know what was going on accept there was boxes and wrapping paper everywhere. Tysen helped him figure out how to open his presents and look in his stocking.

Merry Christmas everyone! We are all finally better over all the sickness for a while i hope. Even though we have been feeling awful we still have had our nice Christmas moments this year. Here is our Christmas tree. We usually go and cut one down but this year with all the snow and us not feeling to hot we decided to use a fake one. We were lucky enough to have this one down in the basement, it is one that the couple who lived in our house before just left down there. I thought it would be kinda scrawny but it ended up being perfect. Calvin loves the lights. he has been such a good boy with the tree. He knows not to touch it and tests his boundaries but he really had left it alone. I put little Christmas stuffed animals under the tree that he will go get to play with and his favorite is this little elf he carries it around in his mouth by its hat.
Here are our lights on the house. I did something different this year with the loops and i LOVE it. It looks so nice with our little tree in the window.
We have also been baking a little. Here is Calvin helping me make some Christmas candy. He thought it was pretty tasty!
Calvin has become pretty mobile. He can walk by pushing things around. He has a little wagon that he loves to push from one end of the room to the other. He also has become quite the champ on the stairs. He can climb up pretty fast. He still thinks it is much faster to crawl than walk.
And finish off with this look. this is the silly little look we get from our boy all the time. he gives us this face when he is happy or just whenever. it is so cute a smile that takes all the muscles in his face. We hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Thanksgiving Week

It has been a while since Thanksgiving but we have all been taking turns getting sick. One of us gets sick then it just keeps going in a circle till we all have been sick and then sick again! Hopefully this week will be the end of it we are ready to celebrate Christmas. Here is Calvin at Gma Flints house he loved sitting in her little rocking chair. He is so cute.
It snowed all week in Twin Falls and so we took the 4 wheelers out at my parents house and went for rides on the sled. Here is tyler pulling us in the sled. Calvin just sat there and talked he loved it. I also had fun doing cookies on the pond.
After a while my dad took him for a ride on the 4 wheeler and he fell asleep it was so funny. He slept for a while after.
We got home and there was a lot of snow so we took him out for another sled ride. He really likes the rides in the snow he either falls asleep or just hangs out. We had PLENTY of food that week. It was really fun to hang out with all our family.

Last of a long fun trip

Here are the final pictures of so many that i have. Here i am playing a super old organ at kanesville tabernacle. One thing about this place is that one of my ancestors was in charge of building it.
We also went to this really crazy museum called pioneer village. It was 26 buildings full of old stuff. It was so awesoeme to see the progress of history they had everything from cars, planes, phones, farm equipment, school supplies. My favorite part was the kitchen stuff, they had washing machines, sewing machines, stoves, after seeing all of it it made me really appreciate what we have today. We spent the whole day there just looking at all the fun stuff.
Here is Calvin at Cabelas in Nebraska. Calvi liked looking at all the animals and he really likes relaxing in the cart!
On the last day of our trip we stopped at Martins Cove. My parents and i were the only ones who went on the 5 mile round trip walk into the cove. it was a super nice day a little chilly but so beautiful outside. Here is some deer we saw. there was so many of them they were so close it was really fun to walk around outside with them.
This is me right in the cove. it was super smart of those pioneers cause it was pretty nice back there.
Here is Clara. this is how she kept herself entertained for most of the trip. She is pretty smart and can read these books, not word for word but she knows what each one is about and she tells it in her own way. It was pretty cute!

And our last and final stop was at the Willie Handcart site. there really was not much there except what you see here. The trip was so wonderful and i had such a great time and learned so much and appreciate all that the pepole who have lived before me have done for us today.

After Nauvoo Ty headed back to Rexburg and we headed on back home. We stopped for the day in St. Louis to see the Gateway arch it was super awesome!
We rode up to the top of the arch 630 feet it was crazy we got into what was like a dryer drum and it only fit 5 people. It was all white and we sat there for like 10 min and the whole time it would tilt a little as we were getting higher and higher! when we were at the top they just had a bunch of these little windows to look out and there was never a flat plane it was a complete arch and there was not a lot of room up there. it was a pretty amazing building!
We also got to go to the St. Louis Zoo. it was really fun we got to see a lot of fun animals. Here it Calvi by the elephants.
He really loved all the animals but his favorite by far was the hippos! there were 5 of them and they kept swimming right in front of him and he just laughed and smiled it was so cute!
Here is Clara and calvi at winter quarters riding a wagon, they had fun playing in the pioneer stuff.
Here is liberty Jail, this was a really neat experience it was so small it fit inside of the building. Since it was November there was no one there and so it was nice to really take our time here, we heard lots of amazing stories that really made me appreciate the prophet and those who helped bring the gospel to us.
This is at Far West temple site there really was not much there but it was fun to just go be there.
This was one of my favorite places Adam-ondi-Ahman, it was so pretty there. We got there right as the sun was going down and it was so pretty to see all the fall colors and the land was so beautiful.
There really was not a lot to see here either but it was really nice piece of land.
Here is my mom just playin with her grand kids. It was nice to have my parents and grandparents on the trip cause they were a big help just entertaining the kids.
We stopped at the Pony Express museum it was really fun to see how it all started. We did see a lot of old stuff every where we went on the trip but it was neat to see what people had and used back in the day.
Here is Calvi who knows who his parents are i mean really he has this thing with putting his feet up on the table. We would go somewhere to eat and here he is just kickin back with his feet on the table. He also likes to take his socks off and i would have to keep putting them back on. He is a crazy boy but i love him!!

Nauvoo Trip

So last month we took a 2 week vacation across a few states to Nauvoo. Me, Calvi, Brooke, Clara, my parents, and my grandparents all went on the trip. Tyler was able to fly out and meet us for a few days while we were actually in Nauvoo. It was a long but exciting trip. Here we are at our first stop Custers last stand.
Next stop Mt Rushmore, this was pretty exciting to see although it is a little smaller than what i had imagined but it was still a huge sculpture on a mountain!! Going in November we were a little afraid of the weather but lucky for us it was awesome the whole time not to cold and not snowy!!
Here we are hangin out at Wall Drug with some local.
This is a really awesome building we saw along the way the Corn palace, the entire outside and some inside it decorated in only corn products like corn cobs and stalks and anything corn! It was pretty amazing.
Here we are in Nauvoo at the brick store, this was one of tys favorite places to go see he also like the blacksmith shop. Since we were there in November it was great cause there was hardly any people there. The people were so friendly and since we were there a few days they all could recognize you and we were able to have one on one time with them.

Here we are at the Nauvoo temple. it was really pretty but closed for cleaning while we were there. The actual town of Nauvoo was pretty small there was not much else other than a lot of church sites.
Here we are at liberty Jail this is the room where Joseph Smith was shot. It was really neat there was no one else there so we could take time and look around it was a pretty neat place.
This is also one of tylers favorite parts the Mississippi River! it was so huge and since he loves water he loved this.
Here is ty showing calvi the huge barge out on the river it went right past us and it was really really big! The sun was going down and it was so pretty to just sit by the river and look out at the view.

Happy Fall

Man we have been so busy lately. I cant believe what has happened to the year, it is already fall! Calvin had a great time playin in the leaves. He is so cute he can smile on demand and it is super cheesy!
A few weeks ago we took a trip to utah, tyler had a meeting and while he was in his meeting we hung out with uncle Andy! we had a great time he took us to go get some super good frozen yogurt, not like the fake stuff this was really good! He also took us around BYU it was really fun to hang out with him! Thanks for everything Andy!
One of the nights we spent in a hotel, Calvin had a lot of fun crashing the hotel and getting into everything!!
Last week we went for a quick trip to Twin Falls and we got to go trick or treating to the Grandma and Grandpas. Here are the kidos in their costumes, they are so cute!
And here are my boys just getting ready for bed. Calvin loves books he will just sit there while you read to him it is so cute! Happy Fall!!!

So a lot has happened this last week. Calvi has just been growing like crazy! He not only is an awesome crawler but he now likes to stand up or kneel next to things!! Here he is in the tub he likes to kneel by the side and look out. He just loved hangin out in the tub!

We had a Halloween party to go to last weekend and here is calvi in he Halloween costume from his gma fint! Can you guess who he is, Calvin and Hobbs in 1!

Yes it has been a long time and it has been crazy! We have been sick for the last 2 weeks it started out with runny noses and then sore throats that turned into coughs. Hopefully we are getting over this junk! In the mean time calvin has been all over the place. He is super fast at crawling and he is like my little tag along puppy!

Here he is playin with his uncle tysen. They like to wrestle around on the floor it is really funny!
Tyler has been having a lot of fun with his little guy now that he has been mobile. It is so crazy but in the last month calvin has really grown up he is a lot of fun to play with.
He is such a happy guy and he is getting into a lot of weird places. He gets stuck a lot but he will figure it out! He is a pretty funny dude!

Sleepover!!

So last weekend we went up to west yellowstone with some friends and family to a cabin. It was a lot of fun. The cabin was really awesome and had a great view. Here is calvi helping me load up the truck he loved it and he was ready to go!!
Here we are out on the porch you could see the lake, it was so nice and relaxing. The weather was even nice.

The last few weeks

So a lot has happened the last few weeks. We went to Utah a few weeks ago and I left my camera at tys cousins house! man so much happens when you dont have your camera!! anyway a few weeks ago Adam and Cori came down to hang out with us for the weekend. It was a lot of fun we went swimming at this really awesome spot i use to go to in my college days. We all had a lot of fun. We also went to the rexburg fair wich was so so tiny, and we went bowling wich is something i have not done in forever!
Tysen came to stay with us for the night and calvi had fun with him, here they are palying dominos just hangin out together! they are so cute!!
We also went to Twin falls and hung out with the cousins!! it was alot of fun to see them all they are growing so fast!
Here is calvin out on the farm. We went to my parents house and we helped burn a field on the farm. Calvin sat in the pickup with good old trusty tina while my parents burned, and i got to drive around on the 4 wheeler. It was a lot of fun to be out on the farm again. wierd to think that you could miss working but i had a great time!
And here we are last night was so nice outside and so we had a little BBQ and calvin had his first cheeto and LOVED it! I cant believe that the sumer is almost gone!

Whats been up

This is what we have been up to the last week! All smiles most of the time, the rest of the time Calvi has been a super sleeper!! no joke he sleeps all the time! He is just a growin boy i guess.
Here is Calvi and ty out watching the cars in the front yard. Calvin could do this all day, he is an outside kind of guy!
And this is just silly, the other day this is how i found my little boy. I put him in this chair cause he was kinda whinny then the next thing i know he was trying to get out! He looked up at me like hey mom just hangin out!
Something new, the other day i put calvi in his highchair and i looked over and he had a bink in his mouth. Not just any bink but his cousin Claras bink!! he has totally confiscated it and he sucks on it all the time. Family germs i guess?!
And last the other day i made these little socks so give me your opinion to girly or is this ok? I have seen lots of babies with them and i think they are so so cute but are they ok for little boys? Tyler thinks they are ok but he doesn't usually ask questions when it comes to dressing him unless it is flowery pink.

This last week we spent in Athol Idaho for a family reunion on my moms side of the family. I thought about it and i have not been to a reunion on that side for like 10 years!! It was a lot of fun hangin out with all the family. It was an 8 hour drive there and back and the kids did great on the trip! This is what calvin looked like for the big family pictures, he slept through them all!
We stayed at this huge house it was super nice and really awesome! The weather was nice the whole time we went for a little hike, played in water, went to the Spokane temple. Here we are outside with our potato car for the potato car race we had. We didn't do do hot but i had a cool car!
Jill taught me how to jet-ski. It was super fun, we had an awesome time swimming at the lake. Calvin just LOVES water! he gets so excited when he sees water his legs start a kickin and he just gets all excited! it is so cute!
He loves to chew on stuff, here he is eating some watermelon. No he didnt eat it all i did and he ate the leftovers and loved it. it is so cute how it just drips down his tubby belly, ha ha!

Here is calvin just sitin on the beach lovin life! We missed Tyler on this trip, he was working but we love him for all the hard work he does for us! We had a great week and now are adjusting to being home again!

Yesterday we spent the afternoon with uncle Tysen and Grandma and Grandpa. We played and went swimming it was so fun. Here is Tysen pulling Calvi around the house while we were getting ready to go swim! It was so funny to watch calvin just hangin out in the back of his raft just lovin Tysen pulling him.
Today we went to Rigby lake with jill and kyle, brooke, domino and clara it was so much fun as you can see. Clara had more fun playing in the sand/ mud than in the water!
Tyler had this great idea to put the stroler in the water and have calvi just sit in the water. He LOVED it! it was so funny calvin would just kick around and watch everyone.
I have this huge huge ball that we were throwing around it was really fun, Clara couldnt even really play with it! We had a great time and on the way home we got an ice cream cone yum!!

So here we are a cute family pict! Those dont happen to often so i love every one!
We hiked to the dixie rock and it was a super sweet lookout! Tyler wished he didnt have such a bum leg, or he would have been all over climbing those red rocks.
Here we are just headed back it was i nice little hike, we could drive up most of the way so not to much work for such a great view!
On the way back home we stopped to hang out with Uncle Andy! He took us out to lunch at a super great sandwich place we LOVED it! Thanks Andy, Calvin also thought he was pretty cool!
And her is little Clara, this is not part of our trip but she is just so silly, crazy hair and all! I love her big eyes just lookin at me.

We went skim boarding on a river. It was really fun and this was calvins favorite spot to go swim cause it was super shallow! He just sat in the water and kicked away! he LOVED it!
On Sunday we went to tour Brigham Young's winter home. It is really neat to look at all the old stuff that was there.
We also went to the St. George temple and to the visitors center. There was a lot of fun stuff to look at there and it is cool how they built things back then.
Here we all are in front of the temple. Weird that we were all wearing yellow shirts! ha ha!!
And yes there were palm trees we had to have a picture! I wish palm trees grew everywhere, they are so awesome, probably because i didn't grow up by them!

St. George Vacation

Here is our little guy hangin out in a pool. This last weekend we went to St. George Ut. to hang out with some of our friends Alisha and Braedon. It was so much fun and so so so hot! like 110!! crazy compared to what we are use to here in Idaho with highs in the 80!
Here is Calvi he is so tubby! He is growing so fast! Calvin loved swimming we went a few times cause it was perfect weather for it!
Here we are at Zions National Park! It was really fun to ride up through the canyon on the shuttle, we stopped a few spots along the way to see the sights! I loved the red rock , new plants and other stuff we dont see here in Idaho.
Here we are at the Weeping rock! It was really awesome cause there was water dripping out of the rock, it was like it was raining under the rock. This was one of the many cool things we saw there. I would love to go back and do some more hikes and explore it more!

Just the Beginning

So last week we started a crazy fun week. It started by my mom coming down to hang out and go to a Rainsdon reunion. She brought a bunch of peas from the garden and Calvi had fun helping shell them all. He also enjoyed the rubbery feel of them in his mouth!
On Saturday Jill and Kyle came to hang out will all of us. We went to the splash park and here we all are walking back to Brookes! It was such a nice day we had a lot of fun!
Then on Monday we had a Rainsdon reunion and here we are just hangin out! It was fun to see family and stay for the evening! Then on Tuesday and Wednesday Calvin and i had fun watching Tysen we did a lot of stuff like going to the park and stayin up late! We have been so busy there is more to come about the rest of the week!

4th of July weekend!!

OH hey guys!!! It is me Calvin. I know this strand of drool might freak some people out but i think he is so cute. He has been just hangin out in a diaper around the house cause it has finally been so HOT!!
For the 4th we stayed in Rexburg for the day. In the morning we went to calvins first parade it was pretty cold outside but way fun. Then we took a nap and headed to Idaho Falls to watch the fireworks. We met some friends down there here we are waiting for the show! Ty and I also stopped by my Gmas house and we saw some family there it was a fun day.
Here is Ty and Calvin just hangin around it ended up being a really nice day it was not to hot and not to cold it was just right!
After the fireworks show we headed to Twin Falls. We got there way early in the morning and on Sunday we went to Laynie's blessing. She was so cute in her little dress. After church we went to have a big bbq with the family it was so good to have all kinds of yummy food. After the bbq we went back to my parents house to hang out. Calvin got his first 4 wheel ride with Grandpa!!

Tyler also took him for a ride he like it at least i think he did, he smiled and didnt cry! That night we sat on the porch and roasted ji-gantor marshmallows and watched all the fireworks from Twin we saw at least 10 shows going on it was awesome. It was a fun weekend and now we are preparing ourselves for the busiest week on the summer!!! more to come soon!

CAMP OUT!!

This last weekend we got to go camping for Tyler family reunion at Alturas Lake. it was a lot of fun we left on Friday first thing in the morning and it was a really pretty drive. We stopped on the side of the road to take a pict at Craters of the Moon.
Tyler and Calvin takin a little break after the long drive. This was Calvins first camping trip and we stayed in these cute little cabins where there was 2 bunk beds this was ours.
Calvin also got to have his first ride in Gpa's boat. He wasn't so sure about the life jacket but he had a great time and a good nap. Tyler was so excited for him to go for a ride!!
Here are a few little snapshots of my little guy. I finally got tyler to take a pict of us i am usually the one with the camera!! He is just a happy little guy and when he is happy the whole house is happy!!

Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice

I am a week behind I have a lot going on right now we have been so busy and I need to get caught up. Last week we went to Twin cause Tylers sister has a baby, little Laynie Rain! She was born June 11th, and she is so so cute! Here is Calvin with his new baby cousin! I cant believe Calvin was ever that small!
Here is Gma and Gpa with all their grand-babies!! They are so excited it is crazy to see how fast a family can grow! We had a great weekend hangin out with our families.
We started feeding calvin a little rice cereal. He thought it was wierd at first but now he really likes it now he understands what to do with is when it is in your mouth.
I cant get over how much he has grown! As you can see he does not go hungry!! He is just a real chill baby, he entertains himself and he is just a happy kid!
Here he is just hangin in the kitchen helping me cook some dinner. He is getting big enough to sit up in chairs and stuff he is such a silly guy! We just cant get enough!!

Beach or Backyard?

So yes it may look like we are on a wonderful beach but jokes on you! Clara and I are in the comfort of my back yard. I had a great idea one day to make a sandbox for the kids and this is the finished product!! I was so excited about it and so was Clara and so will Calvi.

Here is Clara playing in my mini sandbox. She liked it but she didn't understand why she had to keep the sand in the sandbox. I also planted a few things around the patio in what little earth I have back there and she doesn't understand why she cant so play in that. This project took a while to do there was just rocks all around the patio and i took them all out and did my own little thing. I will post some more pictures of the back patio soon, I already have things growing and I am so excited every time I go out there there is something new coming up!!!
Here is the boys hangin out in the farm barn. Calvin is just growing up so fast i cant even believe it. He has learned to love his hands and grab things and he has rolled over a few times!! I just love that little guy!!! Every day he looks a little older and chubbier!!
Here he is after a long day of church. He does really good during church and he LOVES to come to primary with me. He likes the kids and he just stares at them, he also talks, smiles and yells with them. The kids really get a kick out of it!
And here is Calvi with his little buddy Kacen. They are so cute together they are starting to get to realize each others presence. They are so cute!!

Yellowstone on Memorial Day

Her is Calvin we are headed to Yellowstone! He is so excited. Also pictured is his buddy Hobbs, his aunt jill and uncle kyle brought it to him this week, they are so cute together! My whole family was able to come and meet up in Rexburg on Sunday night and on Monday at 6 we headed out to go to Yellowstone! We had a great time on Sunday night and all day Monday it was so great to have everyone all together. I just love my family!
Here we are at the hot pools or something cool at the park. We made one big loop around the park and got to see a lot of fun stuff!
Calvin had fun riding around in his carrier with dad or Gma. We saw lots of fun animals and we were no joke super close to a big huge bison eating right along the path like I could probably hit it with a broomstick that is how close it was to us! kinda scary!!
Here is most of the family on the boardwalk. It was fun to just walk around and hang out all day! The weather was even ok it only sprinkled a little a few times but was pretty ok considering what it has been like lately.

Here is Tyler and I in the big lodge by Old Faithful. I cant believe the workmanship on that place it is amazing! We loved it. after we went around the park all day we went to eat at Big Juds and it was alot of fun. Thanks to all my family who came down to spend sometime together it was a lot of fun. The 411 on Calvin

So Calvin is growing up so fast I cant even believe it. He is 3 months now and there are a few things we have figured out about our little guy. Here are a few pictures to show what we have learned. Here is Calvin just snoozin away in his car seat. we have found that when Calvi gets tired he starts to get restless and the way to instantly calm him down is put something over his eyes. Anything works blanket, burp-cloth, cloths, really whatever is handy at the time.
It is really amazing how fast he just calms down when his eyes are covered. It really is a wonderful thing we have discover. Next in these pictures you will notice a silly little yellow duck, he loves his Mr. Duck!! It is just a silly duck that when you pull the handle it rattles and i clip it to everything and he just smiles and laughs like crazy at it. Mr. Duck can entertain for hours!!
Here is just an example of how really anything works here he has his pj on his head and he is fast asleep.
We have this little play mat that he loves. Whenever he gets fussy Tyler says send him to the farm, and this is what we he is talking about. there is this little barn with a cow that moves and it plays music (which we both have memorized by now) he LOVES it. He is just laying there in the barn with his Mr. Duck and his eyes covered fast asleep what a life!!!
So there are a few things about our little Calvi, eyes covered, Mr. Duck and the farm barn. And what the heck happened here, where did my little 5 1/2 lb baby go!!! What a little chub we just Love him!!!

A day at the ZOO!!!

Yeah for the zoo. Jill and Kyle called up on Saturday morning and wanted to go to the Idaho Falls zoo. Brooke, Clara, Calvin and I all went on down to meet them. I was impressed. For a zoo in eastern Idaho it was awesome! I would totally go again it was so much fun! here is calvin he just hung out like this the whole time he loved it.
Here is us girls (now i cant say that because Calvin) hangin out in the kids petting zoo section. they had toys and stuff clara liked crawling all over them!
Here is kyle, Jill clara and Brooke all looking at these huge birds we saw so many animals i dont know what they were. There was lots of animals at this zoo, tigers, lions, flamingos, birds, zebras, penguins, otters all kinds of fun stuff. it took us a good 2 hours to go through the whole thing. it was really fun.
This silly little goat kept sticking his tongue out through the gate and he almost licked calvin! It was a great day at the zoo!!

Just Another Day

So it is still a little chilly outside so we have been still hangin out inside for a lot of the time. Calvin has sure turned into a happy little guy it is so fun to just have him lay next to me and we just talk laugh and wiggle! It is so much fun to hang out together, i love every minute of it!
Our newest excitement is this sweet ride! Tylers parents had this bike tailor in their garage so we got it down and hooked it up and Calvin La La LOVES it!! We put him in it the first time and you could not measure the smile on his face it was so big!! We have really only been able to ride it around for 2 days since we got it and we have a great time!
Here is Calvin just hangin out in his car seat in the back yard. I have been working on getting our back patio just the way i want it and it was a nice day and he just sat there talking to me in his cute little baseball cap!
Here we are with tylers mom and bro. We took Calvin for a walk around the neighborhood and he loved it just talking and giggling along the whole way. He has been becoming more vocal the last couple weeks and it makes me so happy, but sad at the same time cause he is growing up so fast!

So today was our little mans big day! he was so cute! he had a cute little tux that his Gma Rainsdon got him and we had to do some taking in! Calvin has been eating so much the last two weeks so he did good to fit in his outfit. everything fit ok accept his suit coat. so he wore the shirt, vest and bow tie.

What the Heck!

So here is an April shower for ya!! On Monday I went for a walk with my jacket scarf and gloves, by the time i got to my sisters house all I had on was my t shirt! It was such a nice day!! So then on Tuesday this is what happened! I wish spring was here, just the other day there was no trace of snow, now today it is warm again so hopefully by the end of the day it will all be gone!! i just dont get the weather!!
Here is my little guy! This morning he woke up early so we came downstairs to hang out while dad finished sleeping. Tyler has been really sick this last few days, so hopefully he is getting better!
So I finally took pictures of Calvins Monster room! I was so excited when I found what I wanted to put in his room. My mom found this cute fabric for me to make a blanket and crib sheet. I took the little monsters out of the design and made the stuff for the wall. It was so much fun I love how it turned out!
I really love the colors in his room, they are so bright and fun!!
There is my rocking love seat I found at DI for 30 bucks!! I am very happy with how the room came together!

Easter Weekend 2010

This last weekend we went to Twin Falls. We left Friday morning and that night my family and Tylers family put together an awesome baby shower for Calvin. It was so much fun, there was lots of family and friends who came. My family is so blessed to have so many people come and celebrate with us. We got such wonderful gifts Calvin is so spoiled!! Thank to everyone who helped out with it and came to party with us, it was a lot of fun!!!
Here is Calvin with his dad and cousin Kai! Kai really wanted to hold him and he said he is heavy!! it was so funny, he likes calvin it is so cute he talks to him in this little high pitched voice like he hears everyone else do when they talk to a baby!
We spent the night Gam and Gpa Flints house. On Saturday we had a really good Easter dinner and we colored Easter eggs. Calvin even made one and as you can see it wore him right out!
Gma Flint wanted to take a pict of her grandbabies and so we put calvin in an Easter basket and Kai was holding the handle of the basket. We also took picts of Kai giving him kisses it was so cute but the picts i had you couldn't see Kai's cute little face very well. Kids are so funny!
On Sunday we hung out at Gma and Gpa Rainsdons house and sorry dad i couldn't help but post this one it was so cute! Here is proud Grandpa with his little grand-kids. He spent the last week building 2 tire swings, a big one out of a regular tire and then a small one out of a 4 wheeler tire to put on the swing set! They are so so cute!! My parents also put together a really fun Easter egg hunt we got lots of candy and other fun toys! Thanks! We had a really great weekend hangin out with all of our family and friends, it is so nice that we are able to live so close so we can take fun weekend trips to visit.

Cosmetic Surgery

So here I am do you see that thing on my neck? You have probably noticed it before well it is no longer there I had that poor thing cut off last week, I would put up after picts but right now it doesn't look to hot. The doctor asked why I wanted it gone and I said kids mostly kids, he just laughed. It is true though my niece Clara just loves that thing she would pull on it and pick at it it was so weird and in primary to have all the kids say what is that thing on your neck?!! so I decided it was time for it to go before calvin got older and made friends with it. So my cosmetic surgery was cutting off that skin tag as the doctor said.
Here are more picts of my boys Calvin is jsut so stinkin cute when he sleeps i cant help myself. He probably had a million picts of him sleeping he is growing up so fast and really chunkin out!
He has also been having gas problems lately. (I am referring to Calvin not Tyler) He gets so mad and screams and then he is fine. I feel so bad because this is really the only time he ever gets really mad or cries! So this is his favorite position right next to dad, Tyler will hold him tight and he will just fall asleep it is so cute!

Hitting the Slopes

So this past weekend we went for an adventure. Our friends Kyle n' Heather hooked us up with some tickets to Targee. Thanks again guys! Since Heather and I both just had baby's we didn't get to do much this winter so we all went snowboarding and the boys went a run while the girls watched the babies then we would switch. It worked out perfect because I was so sore there was no way I could do two runs in a row!! Tyler and I decided our knuckle dragging days are over. We want to trade in our snowboards for a pair of skis. I know that makes our parents happy to see us grow up. I don't ever regret snowboarding but it defiantly works muscles that skis don't and I just dont have the same spirit as I use to. Man that makes me sound old!!
Here are the little ski bums Kacen and Calvin. Kacen is only a few days older than Calvin so they will grow up to be best buds!! These two kids attract people!! There was this lady who came and just wanted to hold them all day, she said that her grand kids lived so far away and she didn't get to hold them very often so I said if you are happy holding him go for it. She was really nice, some people are so funny .

And save the best for last, here I am it was such an awesome day the sun was shining and it was not freezing cold just the way I like it! Not bad for so late in the season. We had such a great time afterward we went and sat in the hot tub it felt so good! What a great way to spend a Saturday!!!

So as Jill commented Waaazzzzzzuuuppp!! says Calvin. This is Calvin all ready for church. He has a pair of cute little black pants made by his Gma Rainsdon and I made this little tie/onsie. He is my cute little man!!
So a few weeks ago we had quite the party going on here. We had a few friends come down to stay with us for a few days and it was so much fun. Calvin was so excited because he always had someone to hold him. We had such a great time! I am so thankful for such good friends, it is always fun to get together!
Then the last half of the week Tyler and Domino had to go to Seattle for work and Brooke and I took a little trip of our own down to Twin Falls. It was a lot of fun, Calvin was such a good traveler. We were able to visit all our family down there. Here is a pict of Calvin and his Great Grandma. It was really fun to get away and visit everyone!
This last weekend we had some more guests. This is one of my best friends from Jr. High in Burley, we are still friends. Her little family was traveling back to Minnesota from visiting family in Burley and they were able to stop by to see us! This is her and her little baby who is 3 months old, so cute! it is fun to have friends with babies so close to Calvin.
So here is my last pict, i love to just look at picts so that is why i always have so many. These are my two favorite boys again. This post is a long time coming, i was going to post this last week but i was struck the the plauge!! i had the worst head cold ever. i had it all runny nose and sore throat, i thought i was going to die! it was great to have people take care of us. Tylers mom and brother came down one day and just took care of Calvin while i slept for an afternoon. It is so great to have them close. We are finally up and going i feel 97% better so almost there but at least i can function!! So we are back on track to keep posting picts. I looked through and organized them on Sunday and i have a TON of picts! that is what you get when you have such a cute baby!

The NEW FLOOR!!!!

So here it is a long time coming!! No more nasty carpet, really whoever decides to put carpet in their kitchen please rethink. We had a lot of help the night before we had tyler and domino haul all the appliances out and then they ripped out the carpet.
Then the next day was tys b day and his parents, cori and adam came down to help him put the floor in. it was so nice to have the help of his dad and brother, they did an awesome job. thanks!

Home at last

So we finally got to come home yesterday at about 7:30 pm. We were so excited to be able to all go home together. Calvin got out of the NICU yesterday afternoon and is doing great. Here he is with his proud papa! They are my favorite boys in the whole wide world!!!
Here is a family pict at the hospital. I know I look awesome that is what you get after you have a baby I had to have some of those pictures.
Here I am with by sweet little boy. He has been so good night 1 went great, considering my mother and I stayed in the room with him all night and I was so tired every time he would make a noise my mom would go over to check on him and then wake me up to feed him. So for the first time in 3 days I was able to get some sleep thanks to my mom!!

SURPRISE!!!! Introducing Calvin Tyler Flint

So here is our new little one Calvin he was born unexpectedly on February 6th 2010 @ 7:30 pm. he weights 5lb 8oz, he is 19 inches tall.
Here is how it went down! So on Saturday we went into the doctor for our weekly vist at 9 AM we got talking to the doctor and they started to check everyting and they found out that he was breached he was standing straight up (so that explains why i looked so small). So we did some ultra sounds to check to see what we could do so and hour and 2 sets of ultrasounds later they decided that there was not enough embryonic fluid to turn him the doctor said you are going to have your baby today go to the hospital they are waiting for you! I was freaking out! First it was going to be a C section not even thought of as a possibility then it was so crazy to think that we were going to have a baby 12 days early! So we headed over to the hospital where they hooked me up to moniter the baby. Everything went fine exept I had to sit in a bed for 6 hrs waiting for all this to happen. it was nice to have family come to intertain for a while. So about 7 they started to get me ready and by 7:30 i was in surgery and he was born. the first thing I noticed was his dark hair he is so cute!! dark hair dark eyes he gets that from his mom! he is so sweet. So he was here ready or not! he has been a really good boy he only cries when the mean nurses poke his foot a thousand times to check his blood sugar. He is a little cuddler and he just loves to be held and have his back arms or legs rubbed. Since he was so small he did have some problems with his blood sugar being to low so he has to be in the NICU for a while. i go in there and feed him and tell him to hurry and get bigger so he can be with his mom and dad. he is doing fine other than that so we have no complaints! We are so excited and feel so blessed to have this sweet little boy in our lives. so for now all is going well more pictures of his life to come!! thanks to all our family and friends who have done so much for us.

Here we are coming so close to our little boy! Only a few weeks away. This top picture was taken right before Christmas. I have declared my final day off work to be Feb 5th. So I am so excited i have had a baby shower thrown by the girls at my work it was so much fun and I got a lot of cute stuff. The crib came the other day and so the room is looking so cute (picts to come later)! Here is my friend Heather she is going to have a baby anytime due the end of the week, she is having a boy to how exciting!!
So here is a picture of my kitchen I am slowly taking pictures of the house it has taken me a while to get all the stuff up and decorated i just have no TIME!!! so hopfully I will get my act together and get going on it! but I love my kitchen it is nice and roomy and I like the gray color with the black. So yeah things are going good and new posts to come hopefully I will get better at this when I have a cute little boy to show off!!

So I decided that since today I got an extra hour added to my life I would finally use it to write on my silly blog. I really wish I could be better at this but I have had a lot of technical difficulties with computers and cameras but I hope I finally worked it all out! So yes this summer has been a crazy one for us. We found out that we are having a baby boy February 18th we are so excited. I dont really have any pictures that can show that, other than the ultrasounds that are posted on our fridge so yeah we are having a baby!!

Also as pictured above those who have not yet seen our new little home here it is, we have really enjoyed having our own spot on this earth that we can call ours. I have been working a lot on the inside with painting and making it ours. It was fairly new when we bought it and an older couple were the only other people who lived in it before us so there was not really anything to fix up which was nice. I have lived in apartments long enough with white walls that I needed some color in my life. I have a few before and after pictures that I will post later. (not to later! i hope)

We also took a week off of work and life in Rexburg to go on vacation. the first half of the week we spent with tylers family in utah at Bear Lake. We stayed in a beautiful cabin with his family and cousins ect. it was a lot of fun then we headed out to go to the oregon coast to see my gma and the coast with Jill, Kyle and my mom. it was a lot of fun here are a few picts from that trip.
My most favorite part of the whole trip was the sea lions! they are so cute. they just sit on the docks all day and bark at the sky!! they were so funny to watch.
So there is a short recap on our summer we have been so blessed with many things in our life, we are both doing very well and i could not ask for anything more. So here is my post for those who have commented on their own blogs about mine being so empty (SISTERS!!) hopefully it wont be to long before the next one because i really do have fun stuff i can write and show ya!!!!

So lately I have been thinking about what to post and I thought well I better take a trip to take a picture so I have something worth posting. So today after church Ty and I decided to go on a little drive to Mesa Falls. It was so nice up there it has been forever since I had been there so we drove around stopped when we wanted to and just took it easy. I love those trips. Here is Tyler posing by the lower falls! everything is green and the sun was so bright it was just a great day. Below is a recap of a few things that have happened that I have mentioned of posting but never have!
Here is Tysen (Tylers little brother) he came to hang out for a sleepover one day and we took him to feed the ducks at the nature park. I think he had more fun taking pictures with Ty's phone then he did feeding them!!
Here is Clara she is my little niece Brookes baby. She is such a cute little girl, she is now finally old enough to laugh and smile at you I love it and so does her Gma and Gpa!!
Here is a picture of our new couches in our apt. We are planning on moving here soon so this will all change again!

Its been a long time

Yay!!! I finally graduated! in December Brooke and I graduated from BYU Idaho. I received a bachelors degree in Horticulture. My parents came down to watch us it was great! I graduated with the English majors with Brooke. It is so great to finally be done. Now I just have to remember to keep tabs on Tyler i forget sometimes that he still is in school ha ha! anyway so now I am just working at Porters in Rexburg. I know it has nothing to do with horticulture but I am really enjoying my job and what I get to do there. It is nice
to have a break and do something fun.

Jill and Kyle's Wedding

So it has been forever since I wrote on this last. Things have been really crazy with the Flints! Last weekend we took a trip home to go to my little sisters wedding. We went home Thursday night and then decorated for the reception on Friday and travled to Logan Utah for the wedding. we stayed at a hotel and went swimming and had dinner with some other family. it was really fun. Then on Saturday morning we woke up early and they got married at 10 AM. we had a lot of family and friends come so it was nice to see everyone. after the wedding we had a lunch with the family it was really good food. then we drove back to twin to get ready for the reception. we had a few more things to do before so we got them all done. Andy came to the church and he brought 3 bags. he got us all some food he had two big bags of hamburgers and a bag just full of fries i dont think i have ever seen that many fries in one to go bag it was funny. we decorated the reception with some flowers from the Flint greenhouses. They added so much to the wedding. If you know anyone who is interested let us know we are wanting to do some sort of business with this service so spread the word!! and the rest of this week has just been so crazy busy with work and everything else in our crazy lives. we have been looking for a new place to live and we think we found a new apartment to live in so we will see when we can move in tomorrow so more news on that later that is all for now! enjoy the lovely pictures of us!!

SO here I am camping! On Friday i had to work until 7 so we left right after work we headed out to go camping with some of our neighbors, and another couple they knew. It was a good thing the camp site was not far away it was like 15 min way awesome! so we had a lot of fun just hangin out and we had some pretty good food. then in the morning we woke up early and were home by 9 so i could go back to work. it was really nice to just get out and have a small break in the good old out doors! I wish i could camp out all weekend but there is church and yes I have to work for a few hours on Labor Day!! ridiculous!!!

So here is my second demo blanket I did for work. I think it turned out great. And get this I making another one!! crazy I know I think they had a pile up of them that needed done and I am so far going through 1 a week! But Thanks to my Amazingly talented mother I have learned the art of sewing. Ty and I are off to go camping tonight we are so excited! we have only got to go 1 other time together this summer!

Crazy weeks

So I would have posted something earlier but I could not get my stinking blog to show up on my account. so I had my wonderful computer smart husband help me figure it out and we found out that somehow I created 2 Gmail accounts?!! i don't get it. whatever it is all figured out now so yeah the last few weeks have been pretty crazy. last week we went home to Twin Falls so ty could get in his wake boarding session in for the year.
Here is tyler yeah I think he is pretty awesome!! we had so much fun with Tyler and his family they were all there so it was great to visit with them. My little brother Andy showed up and also went with us for a wile. Then we went to my parents house and hung out until my parents got there. My parents have done quite the changes on the house it is like I dont even know where I grew up but it looks great. they also had 7 little puppies (i think 7) they were so so cute! they were so chubby and some of them didnt even have necks because they were so chubby!! they were at the cutest stage to play with they were walking around and just being cute playful puppies!

Aren't they so stinking cute!!! this little guy was just yawning and we caught him at just the right time. My sister Jill and her boyfriend kyle also came over on Sunday for dinner I love Sunday dinner with the family. It is always so much fun to go home for a visit.
So after the big trip to Twin we went home and went back to work. At work they have me working on some projects this it a blanket that they had me make to use as a demo quilt at the store. this quilt is one of the #1 selling blankets in the store and we needed an example to I made this blanket and it is now hanging in the stores fabric section. they liked it so much they had me make another one but this one has pirates on it so that is what I am currently working on so it will be posted later.So I guess it was 2 weeks ago that we went to Twin because this week we ended up in Utah. we went to Logan to go to the temple ? Tylers cousin Luke was going through the temple for the first time and so we went with them. Tylers brother Adam came along with us it was fun. After the temple we went to eat at Sizzlers and it was late so we decided to just stay in Utah. we stayed at his cousins house and it was fun to visit with them. we found out that we were only 10 min away from our friends Alisha an Braedon so we went to see them for a little bit. it was fun.
We went back home to Rexburg to go to church we got there at 12:30 just in time to go to church. We only had 2 hours of church and then we went home for a quick nap and then we went back to the church for the Twin Falls Temple dedication. it was broadcast at the church so we could watch it. I know that having temples close is a real blessing and I had just not felt so super excited like everyone else about it partialy because I dont really live in Twin anymore but as soon as I was sitting in the dedication meeting and looking at the pictures and listening to the music I finally felt it. I am so thankful for temples they are so beautiful and I know that it is so important to attend the temple. I am so glad that there are temples so close to me. I just love going to the temple I feel so great when I am there I know that this church is true and I love the feeling I have while in the temple. It was also great to hear from our church leaders and the prophet he is such a great man. so this past few weeks have been pretty crazy but it keeps us going. I love my life!

New Adventures

This past week we went on a few adventures. We first took a hike to R mountain it was so awesome up there, you could see everything. After we were really hungry so we went to eat and I ordered fish (trout or something) anyways it was so good I loved it and I have never ordered fish at a restaurant before but I ate everything on my plate it was crazy cause there was a lot! then on Sunday we wanted to go for a drive so Ty and i went to kelly canyon it is really pretty up there and I showed Tyler where Hise was and he was more interested in going swimming in the river instead of the pool if we went back to swim. It is really nice to go on little adventures like that and they are so close. We also had some friends come and stay with us Heather and Kyle so this weekend was pretty fun.

So it has been crazy since school got out. All ty and I do is work Work WORK!! It is ok. I just started a new job like 2 weeks ago working at Porters, a craft store here in Rexburg. I love it. Is so much fun to be working with all kinds of awesome crafts and stuff. I get way to many ideas. lately I have been working in the fabric section so that is why on my day off I decided to make this lovely handbag. Tys and my work schedules are actually pretty perfect. just how I wanted it to be. I never have to work earlier that 9 and later than 7 and he works 8 to 5 and we always have an hour lunch together who could ask for a better schedule? not me! anyway that is what is new we just work and hang out Ty is at mutual with the little deacons right now so just killin time!

1 Whole Year!!!

I can not believe just a year ago we got married! yes time goes by sooo fast! It has been a great year, lots has happened and it has been a great experience. I cannot wait to live the rest of our lives together! Tyler woke up really early (7 am) and surprised me me with a bunch of beautiful flowers. What a way to wake up in the morning! We had a lot of fun for our anniversary we went to lunch with tys parents (they came to get Cori) we went swimming with some friends took a few naps, and we had a movie night we got the laptop and went and watched a movie out on some grass. School just finished for the semester and it is so nice to know that we are home free for a while. We had no worries to do homework or study so it has been a really nice weekend.
