Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

 So these pictures got put in some random order but that is ok. We have been doing lots of fun christmas activities this year since Calvi really gets Christmas. It is really fun to introduce all the fun stuff we liked to do as kids to him and see how excited he gets about it all. Here we are with santa.

 There was a place in town that was doing a fun christmas day and so we went to check it out. We saw santa but Calvi was way more excited to see the Grinch. He has seen the show and loves it and will sometimes act like him.  It is pretty funny, the Grinch did a good job of acting the part. The kids thought it was fun.

 They also had hay rides. I had both my sisters and their kids there so it was really fun to do all the stuff with the cousins.

 Calvi got a little nativity set from his gma and gpa and he loves it.  When he got it he told me "dont touch it mom it is mine and Jodi's it is very special." He is silly.

 We had a little gingerbread decorating party. Calvi was so excited we had invitations and invited a few friends to come do it with us. He told me "mom this is mine and claras party not yours ok mom" and when people came over clara and calvi were at the door saying welcome to my party they were so happy and had so much fun.

 Here is what calvi came up with after putting candy on taking it off to eat it and then get some more to put on again.

 We set our tree up on Thanksgiving Calvi was so excited he said it is Christmas time mom is it!! This is where i found jodi today just playing right under the tree. The kids have been really good to not touch or take things off the tree but as you can see they get as close as they can.

 We got our train set out, Calvi is in love! he thinks it is so cool. I usually have it around the tree but jodi is to crazy with it so we keep it under the couch and pull it out when she is sleeping. Calvi could watch it all day.

 We had a christmas breakfast where santa left a little package for the kids. It was an elf calvi named jellybean. It is like the elf on the shelf but we did it a little different and it has been a lot of fun to see what he is up to every morning. Calvi asks for christmas waffles all the time now.

 Here are a few picts i got of the kids before church one day they are both getting so big.

 Jodi is such a little girl.

 The first time we saw santa was at the library. We got to the library and he was sitting right by the door and calvi just stopped and was like dad mom do you see that it is santa!! he ran inside and just started jumping up and down with his cousin and they were so excited to see him. when he went up to talk to him santa asked what he wanted for christmas and calvi pointed and said i just want one of those candy canes. (one in that big basket) and santa said is that all you want how about a toy. Calvi said no just a candy cane. It was pretty funny and he was so happy and excited about that candy cane.

 So we do story time at the library and right before Thanksgiving we got to go on a trip to the fire station  Calvi was so excited about going but once we got there he was a little freaked out as you can see. he was fine if he was holding on to me but when i wanted to take a picture this is what i got.

After being there for a bit he relaxed and had a good time and we were able to actually get a good pict. So we have been having lots of fun and are getting really excited for Christmas to come. 

Jodi is 1!!!

 Here is calvi on one of out adventures throwing rocks in the river.

 So Jodi just turned 1, I cant believe how crazy fast the time has gone by.  We had a lot of fun this last couple weeks. My mom came down the day before her birthday and the kids had a lot of fun playing with her. Here we are at the park riding bikes and going on a walk.

 Jodi is such a fun little girl to have in our lives she has a very fun personality. As she is getting older the little girl is coming out in her. She loves to dress up in necklaces and bracelets and play with babies and puppies. She is also very dramatic but so loving and smiley.

 She does love puppies so here she is with her puppy cake she thought it was pretty fun. She likes the cake but was not sure how she liked everyone looking at her and singing. She actually started to cry out of embarrassment or fright I dont know.  It didn't last long she got to eat cake so everything was happy again.

 She did like the cake she loves the sweets!

 We had fun with all the family and friends who were able to come. That Saturday we had everyone come and eat lunch and go swimming. Here are all the kids as soon as we got to the clubhouse the kids ran right to the pool door and wanted to go in.

 Here is dad with the kids I can not get over how silly calvi is. He is wearing his "ee-bow-als"(overals) and his ridiculous juice mustache! He thought it was pretty cool so we just let it happen. Jodi was opening a present we found she is pretty good at that.

 I just thought this was such a cute little pict of her in her swimming suit just waiting to get in.

 And yes this is a puppy I am laying by. My sis got a puppy and brought it down so we had 5 kids and a puppy running around my house it was crazy but fun. Archie was such a great dog he was good with the kids and he was so cute and cuddly. Thanks to all the family and friends that helped celebrate Jodis big day we had a lot of fun.

 So I need to throw calvi in this post, this last Saturday the primary in our ward got to go up to the temple to walk around and go in the waiting room. I had to go so I decided to take calvi with me. He was way excited he is always asking to go into the temple. As calvi put it, it was awesome to get to put his church cloths on and go with mom to the temple. It was such a great experience for me to be able to take him there. I am so grateful for my family and it is such a blessing to be able to know that I can be with them forever and that my 2 wonderful kids can be with ty and I forever. There is such a wonderful feeling that comes from going to the temple even, if it is just as simple as walking around with a little boy. I am so thankful to have temples in our lives.

Here is calvi just sitting on the steps at the temple. That was one of his favorite things walking up and down all the stairs. He also liked the corner stone with the gold numbers and letters.

Grandmas house and Adventures

 So here are the two silly kids. Calvi got into the freezer to sneak a snack.  He thinks if he gets one for him and one for someone else it is being nice so he wont get in trouble. I had to laugh when he brought our 2 frozen corn dogs and shared one with jodi!

 Here is calvi fast asleep with all his cousins around him he didn't even wake up when they stopped by.

 We took a trip with our Gma, Gpa and Tysen to daddys Gma and Gpa Stuarts house. Calvi entertained himself while in the car he had m&ms and he put them on his ears and thought that was pretty goofy.

 The kids had a lot of fun playing with all of the fun things at their house.

 We got to see and play with cousins.

 The kids also got spoiled by Gma here is jodi making a mess of a Popsicle.

 Jodi likes to show off her tricks to everyone  She would climb on the top of things and just start yelling out and waving her arms she thought she was pretty cool.

 So we have been taking mini adventures before church on sundays since our church is at 1:30 it is the best way to get the kids and tyler and I out to get some fresh air.

 They love it we will just find someplace to go and walk around and see what we can see.

 This time calvi found a puddle to fall into and he got all wet and we had to run back to the truck to get him warm. He still had a good time and loved to be bundled up in the blanket.

Halloween and the SNOW

 Here are the cheesy  kids hangin up the few halloween decorations we have.

 We had a lot of fun for halloween we got lots of candy so much that at one point calvi said, "mom cary my bucket it is to heavy!"

 Our pumpkin carving experience was interesting. Jodi thought the pumpkin guts were awesome, as you can see she is wanting to eat them. Calvi on the other hand thought the guts were super grose and would not even get close. Thanks to mom cleaning out the pumpkins and dad carving them we got some pretty fun ones.  Calvi wanted a scary one this is the face he showed us.

 We went trick or treating with Gma Gpa and Tysen, Cavli was so excited.

 I made a fun halloween dinner for the kids with mummy dogs, brains, fingers, and other silly stuff. They thought it was pretty awesome.

 So here is the snow!! WHAT ya it was crazy this happened the weekend before Halloween. Calvi woke up one morning and yelled from the top of the stairs "MOM it snowed! I need to go make a snow ball like this" He was so excited we headed out at 7 AM to go play in the fresh snow.

 As you can see it was still dark outside and still snowing. It was a lot of fun that the kids were both old enough to enjoy it.

 I did have to scramble to find some snow gear i was not ready for that so soon.

 Calvi loves to throw snowballs. Here he is getting ready to throw one at Jodi. It is a good thing she loves the snow and doesn't mind when it is thrown at her. She will just eat the snow off of her like no big deal, it is pretty funny.

 This is how much Jodi loves the snow.  I kept thinking she was falling down face in the snow so i would go pick her up and she would just cry.  She didn't want me to help her she is eating snow off of the ground. This is how i found her most of the day.

We had a lot of October fun! You better watch out when you are with calvi in the snow or he will get ya! SNOWBALL!!
