December

We had a lot of fun through the holidays. How can you resist those sweet rosy cheeks!!
Calvin really wanted to build a snowman but it was always super cold and so the snow was never  good snowman making snow. This is the best we could do. He was still proud
One of the winter activities that the kids enjoy is going to the college and running on the track. They have a great indoor track that the kids love to run around. It is funny to see them running next to everyone else and the college kids are usually entertained by them and will talk with them. It is fun to watch them run "super fast " They like to wait for us at the end and hang on the bars.
Calvin is super into legos this is one of the things he was proud of building. I think it is an airplane.
Rexburg has a lot of fun community activities. For  Christmas this year we were able to see a couple of camels, visit santa, the grinch and his dog max, and get a sleigh ride.
Calvin loves the Grinch and was so excited to see him. He also has 2 stuffed animal dogs he named max after the Grinches dog Max. Jodi was so afraid to take a pict with them.
We just went for a visit to see Gma and Gpa Rainsdon.
Jodi got her first hair cut. Really we just evened out the mullet but she was so excited that she was able to have a hair cut from our friend Natalee.
Calvin made these candy trains for some friends for christmas. He was super excited about them as you can see.
We went sledding with some friends the kids had a lot of fun. Jodi wanted to go all by herself and she loved it!
 The kids and their friends.
We had fun playing on the giant hill in the church parking lot with Tysen. Calvin pretend that he was the Grinch and he was at the top of Mt. Krumpit.
There was a local group of people who put on a live nativity. It was a really fun experience and great way to have out kids understand what Chirstmas is about. They also had homemade doughnuts and hot chocolate as a treat for everyone.
Here are the kids dressing up for the nativity. They love to dress up and had fun acting out the story.
Christmas morning Santa was nice this year. It was so fun that both kids understood Santa and they were both so excited to watch during the holidays.
Calvin got his first real sets of legos and was so excited!
Jodi and Calvin opening their presents from each other.  It was so sweet to watch them get and wrap a present for each other and then to open them they were so excited.
We are so thankful to have such a wonderful family and friends to be able to share the holiday season with.  We are so blessed to have these 2 children to help us celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and to teach them all the wonderful things that this season brings.
