These kids are growing up

 Hey here we are just a couple of kids who are growing up! Jodi and calvi have a lot of fun together.

 Here is my big guy ready for church. He likes to pick out a tie or bow tie each sunday.

 Here they are in daddys pickup. We were gathering some wood to make a fire in our back patio. Calvi thinks it is fun to just burn the marshmallows he doesn't really like them cooked but it is something he can put in the fire.

 We have a tummy sleeper! Jodi is usually found sleeping like this in her bed I will go and roll her over and she just rolls back.

 Ok for the big news calvi is trying to use the potty. We have been at this for about a week now and he is pretty good so far. He only really has a hard time going first thing in the morning and then once he remembers he will go all day. Here he is with some pirate undies he picked out and his jar of taffys. He will make himself go potty just to get a taffy!

 Ok for Jodis big news yup here she is just pulling her self up to stuff! I went out of the room today and walked back in to find her like this. She will be 7 months and is already moving at a faster rate than her brother did. He is realizing how fast she is growing we already have fights about "no jodi give it back" or "no jodi move away!"

And here is our happy litte girl. She is usually found with this silly little smile and fuzzy hair. It is just so crazy how fast they are growing up and how different they are. We love them both so much!

 We took some family photos. It is super hard to take picts of little kids but we did manage to get a few good ones. I also have a bunch of pictures from the past little while that i needed to catch up on.

 The kids just watching cartoons in the morning. They are so funny together!

 Calvi had some dental work done a few weeks ago and my mom came down to help out. Here is calvi just resting it was nice for my mom to be here cause i got to spend the whole day just taking care of calvi while she took crazy jodi to play with cousins. The kids just love their grandma!

 Tysen came to spend the night and we set up a tent in the living room. They loved it and both boys fell asleep and stayed there all night.

 Just a couple of cousins being silly. They are fun to watch they can talk to each other now and it is fun to hear what they have to talk about.

 Crazy that is snowed this was a while ago but it was the last time it snowed for the year. It was the most awesome snow i have ever seen. It was like styrofoam balls and it was not cold at all, calvi and i just had fun catching it in buckets and eating it. It was really fun and calvi loved it!

Calvi got a kitchen from a friend and he loves it. he got it a few weeks ago and has not stopped playing with it. he got some other stuff from his gma and he is always making us food. He loves it so much he the night we got it he didnt want to go to bed and in the middle of the night i found him downstairs sleeping on the couch by his new kitchen. He is such a goofy guy and very creative and helpful.

It is getting warmer!

 We are so excited about the warm weather we have been having. We had fun playing outside and  having a hot dog roast with gma and gpa. We have also been playing in the pool a lot. Calvi has found that using arm floats are the best and he LOVES to swim.

 He is crazy he will just jump off the side in the water and he is also ok with getting his head under water to. We have had the cousins come swim with us and they love it. My sister came with her boy and it was so fun to have all the 5 kids in the pool. I will have to post those picts later.

 Calvi has also had fun playing on the back patio with chalk, as you can see it is all over him!

 Jodi is an outside baby, she loves the fresh air and could be out all day! Here she is just watching her #1 brother playing and wishing she could move around more.

 Another fun summer activity is the bike ride. They both love this. It is fun to take them cause clavi will be in the back singing and jodi will be talking then before you know it they are asleep on each other.

 I left calvi with ty one time while i went to a meeting and i came home to this crazy ice cream face! He has so much fun with his dad and it was so sweet when he came home and shared with his sister. They are so cute together and get along great!

Happy Easter!

Here is our easter picts. We had a great few weekends celebrating easter with all our family. Here is calvi with all his loot that he found at gma and gpas big easter hunt. He finally got down what the whole hunting for eggs thing was and loved it!

This is my silly little girl she loves to hang upside down all the time. She cant just sit on anyones lap with out flopping her body into this position.
Here are some of the guys out roasting hot dogs before the big easter hunt at my parents house. My dad made this little fire pit for roasting it reminds me what my grandpa Rainsdon had for us kids to roast on when i was little.
My cousin got married and here are the kids all dressed up ready to go. Calvi has been so nice to Jodi i was getting her ready and calvi was watching and looked at me and said " jodi look so nice". I just about died it was so cute.
My parents and all of their 5 grandkids we have been taking shots here and there but i thought this was pretty good for 5 kids. Calra is just like her mom always not looking or closing her eyes sorry brooke!
We went to twin the weekend before easter to celebrate easter and conference weekend. Sunday before we left we got some news that Tylers grandma passed away. She was 90 years old and such a sweet lady. So we ended up going back to twin the next weekend for the funeral. It was a very nice weekend full of fun memorable times with the family. I never really knew his grandma outside of a nursing home so it was fun for tyler to tell me fun stories that he had of her, and to also hear others from the rest of the family. We had a great few days just hanging out with his family. Here is a pict of us up where tyler proposed to me almost 5 years ago. it is so pretty we rode four wheelers up to see the view. It is such a great spot for us to go visit. We went up with his dad and kai and kai said "grandpa you are holding my hand to tight". it was funny but for a good reason we were right on a cliff!
We colored easter eggs and went on a hunt for them. Calvi really liked to put the eggs in the cups of dye.
We had some really great easter weekends with our wonderful families. Here it the spot where tyler proposed to me and it is crazy to think where we are now with our little family. We are so blessed!

The kidos!

I wish I could say this is what the last 2 weeks have been like but sadly no. They have been crazy and a little off. They both had problems with sleeping and jodi had super bad gas problems. It has just been crazy. This is picture is one time where things were perfect when just moments ago they were crying and screaming. During all of this i would have to say it would just make me go nutz! I would just go crazy cause i just never knew how to help them or make things better. During all of this i would have to remind myself of how sweet they really are and that these times only happen every once and a while and there is sometimes nothing you can do accept love them and wait for the time to pass.


Calvi is just like his dad he is constant carrying something around the house coming up to me saying "mommy going working" or "love you mommy see you later" all things that ty says when he leaves to go to work.
We went to my little nephews 1st birthday yesterday. My sister did a great job of planning a really fun party. We went to a fun play place for the kids and then went back to the house for some dinner a pinata and cake. We had a really great time the kids had fun playing. It is so crazy how the time passes.

February Craziness

So February was a little crazy and that should be the last bit for a wile. We spent about 2 weeks in Twin falls while tyler had the opportunity to go speak at a conference in London! His trip was 5 long days of traveling and feeling lost, but everything went great with the presentation. He was glad to be back and we were glad he was back. The kids and I were in Twin so we would't be home alone. Tylers sister cori was getting married so it was fun for us to be there for all the festivities. We stayed with my parents and had fun with gma, gpa and my sister and her silly little boy! Ty came and met us 2 days before the wedding calvi missed him so much.
As you can see he wants to be just like his daddy. He is often found wearing "daddy shoes, computer, and going working" he is so funny and fun to be with. He talks so much and it is crazy how fast he is catching on to new things.
He had so much fun everyday he would just be worn right out at night. Here he is, he fell asleep on me while i was playing a game.
Here is calvi at the wedding reception. He loved the hot chocolat bar minus the hot chocolate. He also found that he was just tall enough to reach the doughnut holes to!
We has a lot of fun but we are glad to be back home and settle down to have summer start!
