November

The kids were excited about the snow they tried to eat it off of everything!  Calvin loves this hat, that is a little to small for him, but he doesn't want to wear anything else.
We still love to go swimming. My mom came to visit and we all had fun in the pool.
 The girls just relaxing
Jodi was so excited for her birthday. She got lots of babies and had lots of fun with friends and family who came to visit.

Jodi wanted to have a Mini Mouse/ Princess/ Kitty cat cake. So this little girl gets what she wants and she got a Mini Mouse Princess cake with Kitty cat cupcakes. We love her so much she is our little princess. She has grown up so much and acts way older than 2!  She is such a girl, she loves to get her hair done, nails painted and pink everything.

Just another day with my kids finding whatever to wear or dress up in for the day. They have great imaginations and it is fun to see what they come up with.
I am a Webelow scout leader and Calvin wants to be a scout so bad. I was sewing some patches on my shirt and Calvin said he really wanted a scout shirt so here is what we came up with. He is so cute when he wears it to scout meetings. He tries to act and do exactly what the other boys do. It is so fun to have a boy and girl and get both worlds.
My little pirate? He loves to dress up and be different things every day.
Jodi was suppose to be in bed and knew she would get in trouble if she came downstairs so she just stayed on the stairs.
The kids were excited to get Christmas lights on the house.
Since Thanksgiving was so late we decided to get a tree the weekend before. We had a fun time going to the mountains to find a tree. It has been a few years since we have done this and the kids had a great time.
Calvin really wanted to use the saw so he was helping dad cut a branch.
We went to see Santa at the college. It was awesome they took this great pict of the kids and had treats. The kids were so excited and it was a great start to the whole Christmas season.
Here is our wonderful tree. I think we did pretty good. Every year we add another string of lights to the tree and it gets lighter and brighter every year!
Of course we had to have a train.
The kids go to go to the fire station for story time at the library. Calvin was so excited that he had to dress up for the part. He is pretty creative to come up with these outfits.
Here they are with the fire trucks.
For Thanksgiving we went to Twin Falls. Here is Jodi and Gma Flint as you can tell Jodi got plenty of food and treats!
We went to this awesome light show while we were there. It was super pretty and they had so many different lights the kids had fun walking around looking for their favorites.

 Calvin with a train.

The kids had fun running up and down the isles of the greenhouse. The poinsettias were to pretty and it felt like Christmas. We had a great time visiting family and doing fun things for the holidays!

October

A big thing that happened this month was that Calvi got some more dental work done. The last time we did this he was to little and had to be put under cause he was scared. This time around he was a little older so we took him in one time to see how he would do. He did great!  It was awesome and he was so excited that he did so well and that he got 2 "robot teeth" out of it. He thought the dentist was pretty cool and was excited to go back!
I don't know how this happened but we sometimes find the kids in weird places after we put them to bed.
Calvin really wanted vampire teeth for Halloween and we had to dig in this huge pile of Halloween stuff to find the WHITE ones, not color ones cause teeth are white.
The kids love to hang on their dad it is funny to watch what they come up with.  Jodi wearing one of her Halloween costumes.
We took a fun night time adventure. Cavlin was so excited to be able to ride his bike in the dark a few blocks down to go look at the spooky Halloween house. He loved it and said he was not even scared by the music and spooky lights.
The kids earned a little Halloween craft they had fun putting together.
Once a month the library has a movie night for anyone to come see.  The kids love to go and get a little treat and watch a movie at the library movie theater.
Just going out to run some errands.
Calvi wanted to be so many things for Halloween it was a good thing we had a few times he could dress up. This time he wanted to be a robot. Jodi saw her kitty cat costume from last year and that was the only thing she wanted to wear. Luckily she could still squeeze into it.
Calvi loves to hang out with his Uncle Tysen. He will copy anything he does it is fun to watch them.
The kids learned that they could push the stool up to the window and they were tall enough to see out.
Here are the kids ready to go Trick or Treating. Calvin is now a pirate and Jodi still a kitty cat.
We ended Halloween night at Gma Gpa Tysens house. The kids had a lot of fun.  Calvin got a bunch of candy and decided he had enough and was to cold so he went back to the house to help Gpa hand out candy.  Jodi thought the whole getting candy thing was so awesome, she kept right up with Tysen and got a whole bunch of candy. It was funny to watch her she kept saying "wait Tyseee" and she was so excited when people would give her candy. It was super fun to watch the kids and see how different they were.

September Suprise

So there has been a reason I have super neglected this blog besides the Holidays. Yes we are having a baby Girl due May 5th. We are so excited and the kids are so excited. They ask so many questions about how they were as babies, and when this baby will be here, and how will she be and look like. It is so exciting to grow our little family. I was not feeling super awesome the first little while so I didn't do much of anything including adding pictures to this blog. Even if no one reads it, it is a way for me to keep track of our families little adventures through life.
This last summer was so fun. Calvin decided he likes little tomatoes and so he really wanted a tomato plant. Here is his little tomato plant that he took care of all summer and it gave him plenty of tiny tomatoes to eat. It was exciting to see how excited he would get when they started to grow and all the waiting and work was worth it. He was so proud.
Calvin also started Joy School with some of the kids in the neighborhood. He goes every Tuesday and Thursday morning and loves to be with his friends. It is neat to see him all grown up and watch him take it seriously. So far the school thing is still awesome for him.
Calvi and Jodi just being silly.
Jodi loves to get her hair all done up with bows she is such a girl.
Just grocery shopping with 2 crazy kids. Jodi likes to lay down in the little kid seat in the front of shopping carts.
When my sister Jill moved away we took over her awesome jungle gym and the kids LOVE to do tricks on it.
 Just enjoying the nice weather!
We were laying down taking a nap together. The kids don't usually take naps in the same bed but that day it worked.
Picking apples in the apple orchard on campus with uncle Tysen. The kids still love to go to the gardens and wander around. They really liked picking different apples from all the different trees.
This month we took the kids on a temple trip. Calvin loves temples so much that he really wanted to go see some. So we made a deal with him if he could go to nursery for a whole month without crying we would take him on this trip. It was amazing how well he did and still does going to class. So one Friday we left early in the morning and headed south to Utah. Here we are at the first stop in Brigham City. We stopped at a total of 10 temples in 1 day. When we got to a temple we would all get out walk around the temple and take a picture. I do have a picture of all the temples we made them into a temple book.  Then we would go inside to the front desk and get a little "temple book" (the temple schedule with a picture on it). We would use the bathroom/ get a drink or see what the waiting room looked like. Calvin just loved it! It was a lot of driving but he just kept saying I want to go to the next one!! It was a great experience for our family to just see these beautiful buildings and feel the love and importance that they have. In some temples the workers would talk to the kids and tell them something special about that particular temple or about temples in general. It was such a fun weekend trip.
Since we were in Utah we cant visit there without riding on the Front Runner train. We stayed with my Aunt and Uncles house who live in Provo for the night and also got to visit with my brother there for the day. It was fun and the kids really enjoyed being there. My brother drove our car back to SLC while our whole family was able to ride the train for 1 hr the next day! The kids were entertained the whole time.
We spent Saturday morning in SLC looking at some sites there. This temple was Calvin's favorite. As we got closer Calvi got supper excited and started saying "Wow that temple is my favorite it has so many sticks!" he liked all the spikes on the top. At the end of the whole trip he still thought that was the best one.
Saturday afternoon we drove on over to Vernal Utah to go visit tys sister Cori who had just moved there. It was fun to see a new place and get to visit her for a little while. This is an awesome park she took us to and calvin really did climb that whole way by himself.
Here are the kids helping Cori with dinner. We had a really great time visiting with family and seeing all the temples that weekend.
Calvin has been wanting to do things by himself. Here he is making his own sandwich for lunch this is something he loves to do and is so proud of when it is done. He makes interesting sandwiches but eats them with pride when he is done.
Here are a few things that came from the garden before we pulled everything out. We Had a really fun and busy month!
